Police said Jeffrey Dillon, 48, drove his 1999 Jeep Cherokee into a Liberty gas station on West Main Street at about 11 p.m. According to The Roanoke Times, Jeffrey Dillon was charged with driving under the influence of drugs at the time of the collision.

Authorities said Jeffrey Dillion’s SUV crashed through a brick wall and landed inside of the building. No employees or customers were injured in the Salem building crash. The intoxicated driver was taken to a nearby hospital.

We are thankful that such a serious SUV accident did not result in any fatalities.
